Hadd, also known as Hadduhg, was born in Ghana on the 18th of January 1988. He goes by the name of Richard Agyepong and was raised in northern Italy. At the age of 12 he left his home town not because he wanted to, but for the good living of his family. At that age your boy didn’t know what “rappin” was; he was only listening and repeating all his favorite songs from 2Pac, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Coolio, Xzibit and let’s say all those influenced by the West Coast genre. Then a year later he started focusing on the lyrics of rappers like Eminem on his “The Marshall Mathers” album and mostly to 50Cents’s “Power Of The Dollar”. In those early days he was also watching what his big bros were doing, so from them too, he picked up something and made it his own. But when 50Cents came out with his “Get Rich Or Die Tryin” album, Hadd got touched and it was like the rap genre calling him. He responded to that call and started writing verses the first of which, as he still remembers, he wrote on a desk at school. After that verse he continued writing others and started to record when one of his homies gave him the number of a studio. Since then he hasn’t stopped. Right now he’s on his first mixtape entitled “Thatz Whatz Up”. The mixtape is going to be like 40% Italian rap and 60% English, so it’s definitely going to be HOT stuff! There is still a lot to buzz about Hadd, so stay tuned for more updates.
