Starting around 1995, there has been lots of energetic activity in the italian underground hip hop scene. After grinding away at many guest performances and live shows in clubs, Puni, in 2005 dropped his long-awaited debut album, "Tolleranza Zero" and his name has become widely known in the hip hop scene stepping up a notch with italian reknowned guest artists such as Primo (Cor Veleno), Kosmisky (Soulville), Dj Metz (Alien Army), Huga Flame, Jack The Smoker, etc. Continuing to expand on his growing fan base, in 2007, Puni realeased "Tequila", his 2nd solo album featuring Caparezza, Kay Lee, AlphaAlpha, 7peccati, D.Skills, etc. Head nodding, hypnotic beats with dope and phat lyrics made "Tequila" definitely set to cause quite a stir in the italian hip-hop market in 2007! The barriers of the norm have been broken and the revolution has begun. The crown for the best italian hiphop artist will soon be held by Puni, the number one contender in the game.
