My name is Yung Jay (or Young Jay) because of the first letter of my name (Jean). I write my songs in english only because i like that language n find its musical quality matches the most with hip hop style. Im 19 and Im persuaded i got my chance in the artistic world if the work i do corresponds to what I am n remains honest. " stay what u are ". Iv started rap for three years tryna rap what famous rappers rapped... One thing leads another I found my own flow. Im a singer/writter and accesorily a Producer but Im persuaded that musical production is not one of my best skills. At the moment (2007) im a student and my aim is to create my own enterprise : my label. it will be no jokes dats why im willin to meet the right people n have opportunities. i will never give up music cause its a way for me of expressing what happens in my mind. In my opinion, music is a hard drug except that if u become an addict theres no cure...u an addict for life! if i had to define music : passion, feelings n work. Though music is an art, its a very hard work! To finish id like to quote a sayin which should make people think more : "it is not the cowl that make the monk" .
